How to reduce Forum-XXXX.js file

Just realised my forum-XXXX.js file is 1.1mb , after finding out this. So i tried to disable extensions one by one (yes i cleared the cache too by each disable)
So with all extensions enabled, the js.file is 1.1MB
With all extensions disabled its 394kb

However, I checked many flarum forums js.file is around 400-600kb with the same/similar setup with extensions.
Note: there hasn’t even any customisations made to my flarum setup

Also, look at this , it shows 805KB on Clark’s Lab scanner and on gtmetrix it shows 196kb? (for discuss.flarum)

Sallymelek The first steps here would be to enable HTTP/2 and ALPN. Serving pages over traditional HTTP is always slower, and it’s better to enforce the HTTP/2 version

This is simple enough to configure. A good guide is here. Let’s start with that first.

Where is the listen directive, its says adding http2 under the listen directive.
And i don’t have a server block, how could i achieve this.

Sallymelek Try the GTMetrix tool again and see if this has any effect on the pageload speed. Then, we will start to look at Brotli and GZIP compression.

Sallymelek Whilst not so much “reducing” the size of the JS being delivered, it is perfectly feasible (and good practice) to install REDIS on your server, then use this extension to enable the cache to use REDIS rather than the filesystem, cache. It’s much faster, and what I do here at metabullet.

Doesn’t Redis need memory? (should I upgrade the server by doubling it)

My plan was to configure ReCache when the forum gets attention.

So what is your recommendation; for the time being, have blomstra/flarum-redis and when forum gets attention move to ReCache ?
